IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE
LICENSING CONDITIONS THAT AFFECT YOU
The
Licensing Authority have requested a number of changes for all Licensed
Boarding Kennels and Catteries in Staffordshire.
ü
Animals to
be boarded shall be accompanied by an up-to-date record of
vaccination against relevant diseases and each animal’s record of
vaccination must be kept on-site throughout the period that it is
boarded.
ü
Cats shall
be vaccinated against infectious feline enteritis, feline respiratory
disease and any other relevant disease.
ü
Dogs shall
be vaccinated against distemper, kennel cough, hepatitis,
parvovirus, leptospirosis and other relevant diseases. (De-worming
should be requested prior to dogs being accommodated where they have
access to a communal exercise area.
ü
A written
consent shall comprise a statement to the effect that the owner of the
animals has seen the accommodation specified in the consent and is
satisfied with the arrangements.
